Founded in 2003, in
East Longmeadow
MA, LifeSkills Publishing specializes in publishing books, both
fiction and non-fiction, which provide life lessons, tools, and
especially skills that impact lives.
The mission of
LifeSkills Publishing is to publish books that make a
difference. Our intent is to provide books that enable people to
make choices and changes in their lives. We make the books, you
make the difference.

About Ellen Simes
Ellen Simes,
founder of LifeSkills Publishing, is a compassionate, caring, and
gifted woman with a diverse background who is committed to
making a difference. As a professional speaker, trainer, writer,
and coach, Ellen has the unique gift of being able to connect
with people at all levels. She works with individuals and
organizations to help them grow, discover opportunities for
improvement, and make a difference in their personal lives as
well as their companies.
Over 15 years
of experience as a certified Dale Carnegie Course® Instructor
and more than five years as a certified Silva Method Stress
Management TM Trainer have provided her with
tremendous experience working with adult learners. Additionally,
utilizing her certification in Instructional Design and
Development, Ellen has successfully designed, developed, and
implemented a variety of standard and customized training
programs.
Ellen brings a
holistic approach to her work. As a certified hypnotherapist,
Reiki Master, and therapeutic touch practitioner, Ellen combines
her expertise in a variety of holistic modalities with her
formal education to create a distinctive training and coaching
style.
